Before feeds. Before algorithms. Before “content.” Explosion Cerebral came from the culture of independent fanzines — documenting metal and underground music through direct exchange, print and correspondence.

Historical references place Explosion Cerebral among Peru's independent fanzine movement around the turn of the 1990s. The redesign treats that history as provenance, not nostalgia: a visual system inspired by xerox culture, rebuilt with contemporary typography, motion, responsive layouts and an editorial archive.
